Since its inception in 2003, the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series® has engaged more than 16,000 people in the sport of snowshoeing and raised nearly ONE MILLION DOLLARS for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®!

Modeled after the highly successful Race for the Cure®, the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer consists of a 3k or 5k snowshoe walk or a 3k snowshoe race. The series runs all winter long, all over the country. Find a race near you!

The event has grown every year and now is the largest snowshoe series in the world and includes the biggest single snowshoe event in North America (Frisco, Colorado). An event not to miss, check out their facebook page for pictures of the event and to stay in the loop. Teams get really into the event, and dress up and create fun themes. Some of the best team names we saw were..."SAVE SECOND BASE," "The itty bitty titty savers," "Snow DIVAS," "Over the Shoulder Boulder Holders," and the "Ta Ta Sita's." This event is a fun way to support the cause and a great way to get a group of friends out and about doing something active and healthy.
