Dear Sister Goddesses,
I wanted to share my most recent adventure up in the mountains with two other sg’s, enjoy the photos! I hope they inspire you to get out and enjoy the changing of the seasons! It always amazes me how wonderful we feel in nature, of course it is our very essence. Three goddesses flowing like water from Boulder up to 1100 feet to soak in the hot springs, this is totally glamorized of course, we hiked 3 hours in the dark one head lamp and one flash light went out, so we shuffled to find a spot to camp and put up two tents almost in the dark. Susan and Dana hung our food high up in a tree to keep bears away, totally brilliant! We enjoyed some delicious treats from Whole Foods, a little whiskey to warm us up and off to bed. We awoke at 4:30am to pack up and soak in the springs we worked so hard to reach; the morning was quiet and cold. I almost didn’t get into the springs as I had some major blisters that told me they wouldn’t feel good wet, however I could not resist as my friends stripped down to birthday suits and frolicked in the mud to the pool. Of course there was a funny hippie guy who decided to join us around 5:30 he is featured in some of the pictures you will know him by his white assJ We dryed off best me could put back on packs and headed back to the Rubicon Jeep. The lighting was amazing the frost just like a magical dusting on all of nature, the river crossings a little more slippery however the added bonus of light was very helpful in navigating our terrain. I loved my hiking poles so helpful when fording riversJ OH did I mention we saw horses with people on them, a hunter, cute boys dragging girlfriends, locals hiking without packs, dogs, beavers, huge grass hoppers, bear poop, leaves turning and enjoyed conversations with complete strangers without any distractions such as cell phones, schedules etc.
Being in the wilderness with friends refreshes the brilliance and exuberance we possess, these words feel even easier to write after enjoying an hour long massage with my heart centered friend, goddess and angel Stacie Janiga! I want to give a shout out to Stacie as she has just decided to open her own private practice at the Marine Street Wellness Center 28th and Arapahoe, behind Urban Mattress. She is now offering an 1 1/2 massage to all new clients on their first visit for $75.00! I feel like water flowing into my evening and I wanted to share this gem of a lady with all my goddess friends to step into your own flow and my stories of adventureJ My wish for everyone a wonderful fall full of whatever you love…to surround yourself exclusively with only that which you love! Some things that come to mind about fall are warm sweaters, fleece, Isis clothing, hats, cider, fires, hot soups, festivals, apples, pumpkins and a clean slate to express and create whatever we desire~ May this or something better…
Hugs and love, Sister Goddess Rachel (once a diva always a diva)
