The K2 Alliance

K2 has launched a brand new 2007-2008 website, www.k2skis.com, introducing new products and technologies in skis/ski systems, helmets, poles and other K2 gear.With the new site comes the launch of their new Girls Only site.

About seven years ago, K2 realized it was time to give women what they wanted in a ski. They got down to work and assembled a test team of women with different makes and background. Different skiers representing the skier in all of us. These women became known as the K2 Alliance and the rest is history. K2 has helped evolve the women's ski to what it is today. Over the years this group of women has become more than just a test tube. They have become the backbone of K2's Women line. They are out on the hill educating women on the product, offering help in selecting the right ski and encouraging everyone to get out there and ski.

The women of the K2 Alliance have become the voice for women in the ski world and an important influence in the development of the women’s ski industry.
