I got my new MBT shoes today and I’m so excited! The holiday season has not been kind to my back – no time for yoga, lots of long days, and endless boxes to schlep around. So today felt like Christmas for my back. I wore the MBT sandals all summer. I have to admit I was leery at first. I’m a bit of a shoe addict, ok a total shoe addict, and at first glance of the MBT sandals I wasn’t sure they would work for me. I gave myself a month – I know I can do anything for a month. First day – they felt a little strange. I tripped a couple times and didn’t recognize my feet in the big black sandals. After the first week…I was feeling great, and discovering new muscles. After week 2, I was sold. My feet felt great, I was standing straighter – and I swear my core was stronger. As much as I LOVED my cute flip flops (usual summer foot attire for me) every time I left the house I opted for the MBT’s. Well – then it got cold. My toes did not like being uncovered in the chilly air –and I just couldn’t bring myself to wear socks with my sandals. As great as they made me feel I couldn’t do it. I went back wearing regular shoes. Well today that’s all changed! Merry Christmas to me!!
